WINGS

Collaborating with RISD, MIT and MIT Sloan School of Management, this is a coursework project of Product Design and Development. The team project aims at redesigning and developing a spinal support solution for first response aquantic rescue use that is easy-to-use, time saving, effective at immobilizing patients, versatile across a wide range of trauma situations and body types and durable. 

 

Our team has named our spineboard “WINGS” because it truly brings a new gush of fresh air into the lifeguarding community. With a light shape and added inflation, we believe in the product and finalize a market plan on how to bring it to target customers.
