01 /CONTEXT
PROBLEM STATEMENT
Beijing is one of the most heavily traveled cities in the world, whose subway system carries at average 13.04 million daily passengers. Up to 2017, there have been 18 subway lines in operation, including 334 subway stations and 554 kilometers routes in total length, ranking the first in the world.

The current subway trains set up 4 courtesy seats adjacent to the subway doors in each carriage. These courtesy seats distinguish with others only by chair color and symbolized sign on the wall in order to show humanistic care and meet the needs of the wulerable passenger group. However, other facilities, such as handrails and armsets, aren't carefully designed on form and function for those who need help.
